The root
My hair journey was rooted in my small hometown of Northampton, Massachusetts. I became a stylist in the year 2000 when I was 19 years old, and I landed an awesome job at the most popular salon in town. I even had the honor of styling Gloria Steinem‘s hair before she gave a speech at Smith College.
My love of working with color is where I started to shine. I attended Redken symposiums, learning from the best of the best. I would take what I had learned and practice on friends and family.
The Bloom
Jumping ahead to the current times! I have two kiddos: One is almost as old as I was when I started my hair journey, and the other is only 2 years behind that.
My roots have been planted in North County San Diego, and my boys have grown up in Encinitas. As a family, we have bloomed here together.
